Hi Woody,

I do remember you and am pleased to hear from you. I did have a phenomenal trip throughout China and enjoyed myself tremendously. We are almost recovered and have finally adjusted to the time change. <g> We certainly adjusted well on the way over, but it has taken a week to get back on schedule here! Is this the first time you come to China?这是您第一次来中国么？

Yes, this was my first trip to China and I enjoyed it immensely.

How do you evaluate the dog show sports in China? 您对中国的犬展运动怎么评价？

I was excited to see the overall level of professionalism shown at the dog shows in China, which is rather remarkable considering the short time that the Chinese people have been involved in showing dogs. As in the US, there are all levels of experience and expertise in grooming and exhibiting the dogs, from novice to expert. I felt the top winners could compete anywhere in the US with success.
我很欣喜地看到，中国人民虽然参与犬展运动只有很短的时间，但整个赛事的专业性是值得称道的。在美国，我们有各个级别的参与者从事美容和展示犬只，从新手到专家级都有。我感觉，中国犬展中获胜的犬只，放到美国哪里都是一样可以赢的。

Which corgi in the show impressed you the most？此次中国之行，哪只柯基给您的印象最深刻？

The one I put to BIS in Nanning. He was a lovely, balanced dog with the essential breed characteristics that make up a Pembroke Welsh Corgi. He showed his heart out that day for his handler and moved very well. As we like to say in critiques, on that day “He didn’t put a foot down wrong.”
在南宁赢得BIS那只。那是一只可爱的，平衡的柯基，身上具有彭布鲁克柯基所应有的基本的犬种特征。他那天跟他的指导手在用心展示，步态非常出众。就像我们平常在评价中经常讲的，他那天没有踏错一个步点。

Which corgi handler in the show impressed you the most? 此次中国之行，哪位指导手给您的印象最深刻？

I didn’t have a lot of Pembrokes shown to me, but of those shown, the young man who handled the BIS Corgi in Nanning did a lovely job in presenting his dog.

我感觉并没有太多的柯基参加比赛。不过在这些比赛中，牵引南宁BIS的那位指导手很出色滴展示了他的犬只。
